WILMINGTON SYMPHONY JUNIOR STRINGS AUDITIONS

Auditions are scheduled every year in August/September and January at UNCW's Cultural Arts Building.

The Wilmington Symphony Youth Orchestras were organized to serve as a supplement, not as a replacement for school music programs. You are strongly encouraged to participate in your school's orchestra or band.

A solo of the student’s choice
A G or D Major scale and arpeggio in 2 octaves
Sight reading (provided by the judges)
